Travel Textures, Walls of the WorldWalls keep a record of the people who pass them. Posters are torn away, plaster is patched, paint is layered over paint, and whitewashed glass catches the reflection of the street. They hold a quiet history of habitation, repair and renewal.
I find these surfaces by walking slowly through the places I travel, from Tangier and Paris to Hanoi and Siem Reap and beyond.
Walls of the World is an ongoing series, gathered one city at a time.
Walk with me
In 2027 I’ll begin hosting small-group photography retreats, slow weeks spent looking closely at one place.
The first is planned for Siem Reap, Cambodia.
